Valero has long-standing partnerships with food banks across the U.S., and thanks to a recent $100,000 donation, Valero has helped expand services at the Coastal Bend Food Bank (CBFB) in Corpus Christi, Texas. The CBFB has moved from a 22,000-square-foot facility to a state-of-the-art 108,000-square-foot location, greatly expanding its capacity to serve the 11 counties in the Coastal Bend region.
Valero's support extends beyond financial contributions. Valero employees regularly volunteer their time at the CBFB, boxing groceries for local families. The new Valero Pavilion at the facility helps serve around 400 families a month, while the Valero-sponsored community garden provides fresh produce to those in need.
